My Background

I was born in Newcastle, New Brunswick, Canada, and raised across the country as a Canadian Armed Forces child, experiencing a diverse range of communities and perspectives during my upbringing.
My family converted to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1985, and I was baptized on July 7, 1986. I remained actively involved in the LDS Church for much of my early life, with a brief two-year period in which I attended the Seventh-day Adventist Church before returning to LDS membership. I ultimately left the church in 2002 and had my name formally removed in 2003.
Following my departure from organized religion, I spent approximately eight years conducting independent research into Early Christianity and Second Temple Judaism. During this period, my views evolved significantly, leading to a rejection of monotheism and eventually to atheism after further engagement with scientific literature and historical-critical study.
Professionally, I have an extensive background in management across the restaurant, retail, and information technology sectors, with experience spanning frontline operations to upper management. My work has also included market research and software development.
I am the founder of Frontier Research Press, an independent digital publishing platform focused on e-book distribution and research dissemination, as well as the Independent Journal of Religious Research, which is currently in development and targeted for launch in 2027.
I have also published several papers on Academia.edu, which have received strong engagement from readers and researchers.
